The settings screen
Every entry in the Settings menu — Profile, Security, Preferences, Billing and the rest — and what sits behind each one.
Everything account-level lives behind Profile at the foot of the navigation rail. Opening it gives you a Settings menu down the middle and the selected screen on the right.
The menu is in three groups. This page says what each entry is for; the rest of this section covers them one at a time.
General

| Profile | Your name and email, the plan you are on, your usage, and the light/dark Appearance control. Edit changes the name and email. See Profile and preferences. |
| Security | Password, two-factor authentication, active sessions and connected sign-in accounts. Most of it hands off to AO ID, which is where your credentials actually live. See Security and two-step verification. |
| Preferences | How the workspace behaves: appearance, chat width, whether the conversation list auto-collapses, personal memory, and the default model. See Profile and preferences. |
Account

Data

| SSO | Let people sign in with your organization’s identity provider. Team-tier, organization admins only. See Single sign-on. |
Your menu may be shorter than the one above. Teams, Invitations and SSO are team-tier features. On a solo account — which is every Early Access account — those three entries are not shown at all, because the endpoints behind them would refuse the request anyway. They are hidden rather than left as dead ends.
Notifications is not in this menu. It sits in the main navigation rail and appears when you have something unread — see Notifications.
Log Out is at the foot of the menu.
On a phone
The same settings are under the Profile tab. The menu becomes a list you tap into, and each screen gets a back arrow rather than sitting beside the menu.
