Work with conversations
Start, rename, duplicate, archive and delete threads — and find them again later.
A conversation is the unit of work in AODex. It holds its messages, its attachments, its context settings and its own tool state.
Starting one
New Conversation at the top of the conversation list. A new thread has no title until it has content — AODex names it from the first exchange, and you can override that at any time.
Managing one
The actions live on the conversation’s row in the list, and on More options inside the thread.

| Archive | Removes it from the default list without deleting it. Toggle Show Archived to get it back. |
| Delete conversation | Permanent. |
Delete is not archive. Archived conversations are still there behind the Show Archived filter. Deleting removes the thread and its messages, and nothing in the interface undoes it.
Working inside the thread
- Edit message — change one of your own messages and resend from that point.
- Regenerate response — take another run at the assistant’s last reply.
- Delete message — remove a single message. Also permanent.
- Copy to clipboard — on any message.
- Stop generation — cut off a reply that is still streaming.
Finding things
Search conversations… at the top of the list matches across your threads. The list is otherwise grouped by recency — Previous 7 Days and so on — with pinned conversations held above the groups.
For anything more structured than search, use folders and labels.
Bulk actions
Select multiple turns the list into a selection surface, with a count and a Delete (n) action. Useful for clearing out a batch of throwaway threads; subject to the same warning about deletion being permanent.
Polishing a message before you send it
Enhance Text rewrites what you have typed before it goes. The options are Improve clarity and flow, Make more concise and Add more detail.
It is aimed at the prompt, not the answer — a vague question rewritten into a specific one usually gets a better reply than the same question sent twice. If it fails you will see Failed to enhance message; your original text is left untouched.
